Our relief efforts were a great success and all credit goes directly to our wonderful friends, adoptive families, and generous companies who donated money, supplies, toys and clothing. We made an urgent plea with a lofty goal of raising $50,000 and within two weeks our goal was met! Because of the generous donations and heartfelt compassion our families and friends sent, we were able to touch hundreds of orphans' lives and will be able to provide them with much-needed items in the coming weeks as we have homes, kitchens and other living facilities built to provide room for the children who were orphaned by the tsunami in the homes we are supporting, along with providing essential goods such as food, toys, clothing, educational and medical supplies, building materials and appliances.
We had many children involved in the fundraising as well. We only have a few pictures of some of the many involved kids who worked very hard to raise money for this trip. Thank you for all your work and caring.
