WATER PURIFICATION RELIEF WORK
1.6 million people die every year from diarrhoeal diseases (including cholera) attributable to lack of access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation and 90% of these are children under 5, mostly in developing countries; FAITH INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS has dedicated several relief trips revolving solely around water purification in orphanages in China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Panama. These purification systems have changed the lives of thousands of children and have allowed them to live their childhood without worry or harm caused by waterborne diseases.

The water systems are compact, relatively lightweight, and can be installed in any location in a day. Their impact is immeasurable. Please click on this photo taken immediately before and after an installation in Sri Lanka. The water was crystal clear afterward and free of harmful bacteria- all reports from the orphanage relay that there have been no outbreaks of diarrhea in the year since install! Something that was once so common, and claims so many childrens' lives can be completely eradicated with such ease. Faith has installed dozens of systems in China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Panama and Nepal.

Systems are easy to install, easy to maintain, and we provide training to all staff on proper care and enough supplies for a minimum of two years of service.
